Today on 17.09.2023( Sunday), attended the Open Session of 2 nd Joint Biennial Divisional Conference of Jajpur Division of AIPEU Group-C, Postmen and MTS/ AIPEU- GDS at Mission Shakti Bhawan, Jajpur and inaugurated the Conference.
Many Divisional secretary, Ex Divisional secretary, State G. S. Of CCGE&W CoC, Com Bruhaspati Samal, Sri Dillip Ku Samal, Ex-SPOs of Jajpur Division, Com Santosh Das, State Secretariat Member of CITU, Com Praful Ku Nayak, Dist Secretary of CITU,Jajpur District Committee, Com M C S Rao, C/ S P-4, Com Ajay Ku Patra, Ex- Circle President, P-4 Odisha, Com J N Mohapatra, Ex Circle President, P-4 Odisha , Com Bishnu Pd Das and Com Bimal Prasan Das of Ck City Division as Ex D/ S and present D/ S P-3, / Com Debadutta Nayak from Ck City Division,Com P Ch Moharana from BBSR Division, Com Bidyadhar Nayak, Ex-D/ S, R-4, RMS N Dn, Com Bijay Ku Das, Ex- SRO, N Dn, Jajpur Road RMS, Com P K Hota, Ex Post Master,Jajpur HO and many others.
Many retired persons also attended.
About 100 Members attended in the conference and in open session.
The main attraction was Com Debabrata Mohanty, Ex General Secretary, P-4 CHQ attended and managed the open session pendal very nicely.
The Presidents of P-3, P-4 & GDS were presided over the meeting and open Session.
All the invited guests were warmly felicitated by the Divisional organization.
The open session was started followed by a small procession from Mission Shakti Bhawan to Gandhi Chhak and back, and after the flag hoisting ceremony and flower tributes to Martyr's column at 11.30.hrs.
The open session was adjourned at 2.30 PM.
The delegate session was began again at 3.30 PM and Com Debabrata Mohanty addressed in the house and spoke on all the issues confronting to Postal and C G Employees and attack on workers and our task ahead and called on the workers of the division to be strengthed and keep in heights to NFPE in the Division.
The other speakers were Com Ajay Patra, Com M C S Rao, Com P C Moharana and R N Dhal( myself) .
At last Com Debabrata Mohanty was warmly felicitated by the Divisional conference and there after some retired officials of the Division were also felicitated
Lastly the guests present in second session were offered with one carry bag each with felicitation gamuchha and with flower buckey.
The members gave rousing slogans at last for the felicitation of Com D B Mohanty and others and for NFPE/ Confederation/ AIPEU of Jajpur Division to keep unity and ready for struggle in days to come against the wrong policies of BJP led Modi Government and against the injustice of the officers in the Division too.
The Conference was a very grand success which was the 2 nd biennial divisional conference after formation of the Division wef. 01.04.2021
